Ok, now that you are aware of the qualities of your last boyfriend, and acknowledge that you accepted those qualities, I believe you are ready for ACTION!
Awareness+Acknowledgement+Action = steps to recovery.
Tell me what you really want in a relationship partner. Seriously.
I was surprised when I started dating again that many people can't tell you what they are looking for in a partner. They can tell you what they don't want, but not specifically what qualities they do want.
I took a few tips from Anvilhead about some healthy qualities for a relationship partner and came up with my own list:
I want someone who is open, honest and forthright. I want someone who treats me with respect as an equal partner in life.
And if you missed my update a few months back: I found what I was looking for!
