Made it through Day 7!
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to say I made it through Day 7 - I am proud of myself! I only had one glass of wine last Sunday in the preceeding week so I am doing really well. It still seems tough at times but I can see the benefits already.
Now for week #2!!!

Ugh, honestly I do not know, I am seriously on the fence over that one (addictive voice, anyone?). I never felt I was an alcoholic, more of a problem drinker. I could be in denial, I don't know. I was averaging 2-3 glasses of wine a day but that was enough to cause me some health problems. I have anxiety and depression so I shouldn't be drinking at all if I can't moderate it better. I think it might just be easier to stay away from it altogether. I just broke up with someone who drank a lot and that relationship was not too good in terms of my sobriety. I'm doing a lot better on my own.

Well good job on a week hope you feel good.
I know your on the fence. But give yourself a shot , just keep going and try to stay clean for 90 days. By that time you will have really given your body some cleansing time. And then make a clear choice.
Best wishes.

Thanks, that sounds like a good idea I think I can do the 90 days... that will be the longest I have gone without any alcohol since before my college days.
