My broken arm is slowly healing.

They had to do surgery. I did have to use pain pills for a
very limited time and am off them now. I don't regret my choice.

I am grateful to God that I am or haven't had to go through
withdrawals. Have no desire to use and bearing with the
pain, now that my surgery is over and healing.

Go back to the doc. next week on the 26th. Hope to hear
everything is healing the way it should.

I also know that I have to be the one to make sure
that if I need them for surgery I am only on
them for the first week.
Yes, it hurts and I could get more, but I don't want more.
I LOVE BEING CLEAN!!!!

You guys keep me strong and honest with myself.

Loving my sober life is helping me tough it out and bear the pain.

This broken arm may be a blessing because it shows me just how
much being clean means to me.

I am in so much pain that I can't sleep. Ice packs aren't
working and the ibup. has no effect. Trying to tough
it out. It is miserable!!!!!!!

Had to call the doctor this morning.
The pain was so bad. They said that
I was still healing from major
surgery and aren't even going
in for thr surgery followup
until Thursday, so they phoned
in a rx for me.

I don't feel guilty, as I won't be on
them for long.

I wish I didn't break my wrist,
but it happen, so I will make
it through and know that when
I have healed enough from
the surgery I will cut myself
off.
