Not really new to this but yet this is day 2 again
Hello everyone....I have been in recovery for some time and the last few months have been hell because I fell into depression had a relape(4 months ago) and just had another one a couple days ago. But this has started with me many years ago and I have had alot of sobrety(the most being around 5 years and then a couple years but haven't done as well lately. I've been dual diagnosed meaning I deal with both depression and alcohol abuse but they seem to go together for me. looking forward to getting to know all of you

It sounds like you have a lot of sober time. Good for you! Depression and alcoholism went together for me too. Well, the depression came a long time before the drinking, but obviously the drinking was self-medicating for me. You are not alone and we do understand.
