I love this thank you for sharing. I'm struggling today with tears, heartache, and NC, so i need to read positive things.
It took my AH separating from me to realize how awesome I am as a person and how I needed to relearn to live my own life. It's like I told him yesterday when he was once again complaining about our marriage,"I'm finished with proving to you what an amazing person I am to be with. You can now figure that out on your own." the look on his face was priceless.

mmk11, i told my xabf last friday night that i was not going to waste my time proving to him that i wasn't lying about anything, and that he could either choose to believe me or not, and that there was nothing i could do to change the way he felt. i wish I had said it as perfectly as you did!!
