Hi everyone, being a new member, I was wondering if you all ever arrange Get Togethers to meet and support each other? A retreat of sorts, for long time recoveries? Just curious.

You have people on this site planted all over the world...Don't tell anybody..But I think the Brits are trying to take over. I do have one member that lives a few states away from me that travels to my state alot...When he's in my town next...I'm going to drag his ass to a meeting. He has more years in AA than I do....But it would be fun. I'm looking forward to it.

It would be good if that was somewhat possible! Anyway it is just good to turn your computer on and see who is there typing from across the globe. God bless us all, we definetly are lucky!!!

I'm in Milwaukee, lol. Great city for sobering up. I'd be down for having a coffee shop get together one day. Maybe we could start a thread in another part of the forums for get togethers if anyone was interested.
