A friend had her jaw broke in 2010 and from what I gather had to have her jaw wired shut for a few months. She also claims she had to take liquid antibiotics during that time. Fast forward to today. She has black teeth. I know she is an alcoholic. I now suspect she either has or is on meth. I asked her about it and she denied it and was hurt I questioned her teeth. She said she is so self conscious about it and hopes to have them whitened or get veneers.

So. What is likelihood that it was from liquid antiobiotics. I googled it and they can have that effect.

I have a family member who had their mouth wired shut. (No drinking or drugs ever) When she was healed, her teeth were a deep color grey. Not sure if that applies to your friend or not, but I have seen it happen.
