My case manger got me a rental voucher to help me get off my feet. We are going around looking at what apartments I may be interested in. As long as its not in a crackhouse Ill take pretty much anything to get out of my father's house. She knows how important it is for me to get out of my dad's house asap. Ill be able to get around, find a job and get to more AA meetiangs by myself. I can also try surround myself with people who understand depression and alcoholism. I would appreciate prayers and positive thoughts so I can find a place ASAP to get me out of this isolation. Thank you.

I am throwing an extra prayer to God to make sure the plac is pet friendly there is a kitten out there who needs to be loved.

The desire to drink is so bad I keep thinking of ways to get it. I had no one when I was drinking and no one now. I prayed for God to remove the dsire to drink and its as strong as ever

To be honest with you IC...It took some work for me to have the obsession to drink lifted...I had to get honest with myself and work the steps....Ask your sponsor about moving forward and pray for help getting that done...This is an action program IC...The action has to come from you.

InnerChild, I also had to do work to help lift the desire to drink. I found something to do that helped me to get outside of my own head and do something for other people. It was truly what I needed to make my recovery work.

I want to do things for other people but being stuck in the house alone I dont know what I can do. I dont do well with isolation at all.
