Ok, so I've made it through my first week and I'm feeling really happy about it. I know I have thrown myself into heaps of stuff to try and keep myself busy and not sitting around thinking about drinking. I also passed my frist test today. We had some drinks in the office today after work and everyone was asking me why I wasn't drinking and that I should have a drink but I just kept saying no I was good. I didn't stay for very long as i don't think I'm ready to hand around drinkers but I'm glad that I had the courage to say no and I didn't feel sad or upset about it.

I think i'm finally giving into tthe fact that I do have a problem but that it's not the end of the world and I can actually still ahve a life without alcohol. A long way to go but I'm happy with the baby steps so far.
