Hi Craig

I know from experience nerves can take a long time to heal, for sure.

Did you see a Dr?
What did they say?

welcome to SR btw

Hi Craig,

Yes, I had this. I could not dorsiflex my left had, i.e. bend it upward, away from palmside. It was paralyzed, as it were. This took about two weeks to slowly get better. More than an inconvenience it was quite scary. But it got better. I had fallen asleep (read: passed out) in my son's small bed after reading a book to him. I slept all night with my arm flexed under me.

Give it time and keep trying to move it.

best wishes

EDIT: I should add--never saw a Doc, just Dr. Internet. I'm not sure there is much they can do; the nerves can heal or re-wire a bit. Anyhow my hand is perfectly fine now.
