Almost a year
Hello, well in 6 days it will be a full year since my last drink,I am pretty proud of getting to a year
I decided to give it up because I saw myself starting to develop a drink problem and the fact its expensive, bad for weight and I was sick of hangovers.
Being 23 I get a lot of strange looks when I say I don't drink but I don't care less

Hi Rossy
What an inspiration you are quitting at 23 because you know it is the best thing for you.
Fair play to you. I know what peer pressure can be like so an extra big well done for being your own person and not caring waht others think.

Thanks guys actually thinking about it I have had very little in the past 22 months. I do have very strong willpower and determination,If I get something my head I have to go through with it.
Congratulations Rossy. Keep up the good work. I blew it after 6 1/2 years of sobriety but have almost 2 months now and I am to feel terrific again.
Would you care to share with us which method of recovery you are using or have used if any and what helps you the most.
Thanks for sharing your accomplishment.
