I'm back:)

Am back after several weeks of relapse, after going away for OH's birthday weekend, and another holiday.I hit rock bottom on Sunday, as it was Father's Day and I was really missing my Dad and hurting a lot

Thanks guys.Have felt really crap about myself but am looking into urge surfing at the mo, and think it may be the way forward for me, as i've already done a mindfulness course so the basic precepts make sense

Hope you're all ok

welcome back Candie

I found urge surfing useful for me in dealing with cravings - but I needed support for the other aspects of my alcoholism too.... reaching out before I hit crisis was vital to me...

I hope we'll see you here regularly again
