Some Posts Made Me Kinda Sad Today But I Depression But some good news for me

Been going insane (short drive) $70,000 in debt from treatment denied by my insurance but got it resoved because my mental/emotional issues prioritized over my AOD. Worked my ass off inpatient. When I was out of wheelchair, I wheeled others, helped serve lunches, attended all sessions, set up laughter sessions, etc. Hospital worked out the insurance and offered me free Out patient. I gave it my all and for once its coming back. Social anxiety order, blah, blah. blah, I went to Farmers Market and bought my upstairs neighbor some organic salad mix. Left it at her door but when it got real hot I went back and knocked on her door to gave them to her. I almost almost had a heart attack but I did already so what the heck. Don't promote a program but I do encourage love and courage and committment. 3 years I've lived here, first time I knocked on anyone's door and entered. It felt good. I'm glad I don't know her e-mail because I would have e-thanked her for what she's done for me. Human connection.

Good going Fitz! That took alot of courage. For me, I find when I go out of my way to do something kind for another human being, it always comes back to me in spades

Well I PM'd you just to take the intiative. I feel better today than I have in awhile and am reaching out for help and support and trying to learn how to make homemade bread, now that is depressing. My last batch crawled out of my breadmaker on its own.

Fitz...don't worry about the debt. The important thing is that you don't pick up a drink. I was massively in debt and the anxiety over that drove me to drink even more. Now that I'm sober, I realized that everything can be worked out with a sound mind. Stay strong!
