It's that important
Never before has my drinking become more of a problem than ever. Never before have I realized just how important it is for me to stop drinking in order to live (period). But it is also more apparent that if I do not stop I will have nothing. I will lose the opportunities that are being presented to me, because I have lost opportunities before because of drinking. Now is the time. I come here for comfort and to let me emotions go without having to let them go in a bottle. Today is almost over and it has been tough, but I have been strong. I hope this keeps up. I want it to keep up. I do not think I have a choice any more than to be sober.

That's where I was too KMC, for sure. And, it's truly a horrible place to be.
But, there is hope. If you look around the boards here, you will see all kinds of hope to live a good life.
