Your favorite sober summer-y activities

I thought I'd start this thread to get some new ideas for myself. Usually when someone posts about what to do with our new free time, we see a lot of "read books, play video games, clean the house"...etc. It's summer and amazing outside, so I'm looking to take advantage of that!!

Some of my current favorites are
-trail runs
-bike rides
-register for outdoor races, 5ks, etc. (COLOR RUN anyone???)
-rent a canoe for the day
-farmer's markets

I really love farmer's markets and grilling outside. Now that i'm not drinking my grilled food turnes out a lot better! Bicycling and brousing rummage sales are fun. My husband and i enjoy walking around new parts of the city and nearby suburbs, discovering new shops and restaurants. Also just reading on the porch in the shade is nice.

Farmers markets, fairs, bbqs, picnics, taking my son to the pool, garage sales, long evening walks.

I really enjoy shooting, and it is one of the few activities I have found easier to transition to doing sober. A big box of clays cost me something like $7, brick of cheapo .22 costs about the same, makes for a nice couple hours of stress relief, and fun!

golfing for a small wager. one kid in AA criticised this type activity, claiming it isn't very sober of me.
