Today has been a pretty hard day for this alcoholic, 15 months into sobriety and still get a bad day here and there, but I have learned that waiting it out pays off.

It’s not that I crave alcohol anymore, but I remember when I could have a few drinks and I had an instant change in attitude and mindset, of course that was only the first few, then all bets were off as to how much I might consume in a given night. I wouldn’t trade anything for my sobriety now, although I still have the wandering thought, I guess I am still human.

I hope you don’t mind me posting here, your so much better at starting topics than I am and I just needed a place to post. Hope the world is treating you right Fitz.

Thanks to all the SR members, and also to the ones that come and go, I wish everyone peace this weekend.

I know what you mean. Have the same sobriety as you and like you, would not change my sobriety for anything.
