Daily Thread - June 7/12
Good morning everyone!
My plan for today is:
Run
Eat healthy
I have an interview to volunteer with seniors after work
Cook a nice, healthy dinner
Laundry
Dishes
Read a book
Anything to keep busy! I have an old super nintendo ( circa 1991 or 1992) in case I get bored!
That will all keep me occupied on my evening off.
I'll also check in with SR this evening.
Yesterday I told some people at work that I quit drinking. Of course no one there knew how much I was drinking to begin with but it still felt good to put it out there! I also told my family that I wasn't drinking anymore so don't buy me booze for my birthday (monday).
What's your plan for today?

The old Nintendo sounds like fun! I wish I would have kept my old game system; my kids would get a kick out of those graphics.
It's a good idea to spread the word that you aren't drinking, especially with a birthday coming up. People love to give booze as a gift.
My plans for today:
Go out and buy new running shoes -- mine have had it
Take the kids out for Texmex. I'm watching what I eat, but there's a soup I can order.
Pilates class with my teenage daughter
Maybe a nap? The 2-year-old still naps, so maybe I'll manage to sneak one in.

Your plan sounds good..stay busy, busy busy.
For me:
Workout (treadmill and strength training- upper body)
Swimming with the kids
Healthy Dinner
Lots of water, seltzer, iced tea and diet soda
Feeling much better today and have to stay on track...alcohol sucks! I think I'm finally getting it

That's awesome everyone! I've done everything I set out to do - just going to watch a movie before bed and drink my water through a straw it does help!
AV spoke up once today but the thought of a 6 am workout class I'm committed to, deterred me. I came right home, and got to my chores to keep me busy!
