Exhilaration, Sadness, Impending Joy
Just wanted to let all those thinking of leaving their AH or AW know something..
It feels amazing to step into the light
It feels scary to leave the darkness I know behind
I am grateful I have the strength to leave
I am guilty I couldn't stay
I am filled with an emotion I cannot place, a sense of impending happiness, or relief or both. It feels right to ignore the guilt and embrace this new life. It's so hard, but I just KNOW it's right to leave.
Follow your head first, your heart will follow you.

Thank you for the encouragement!! I have a picture in my head of how my life will look in 6 months time. It's a vision of peace, freedom and positivity. It's the opposite of my life now. I am looking forward to this new start with such hope in my heart, it's so good to hear it can happen. 😁
