So, since quitting the demon drink, I've deliberately bought mouthwash with no alcohol in it. (I nearly put mouthwash without alcohol which is ambiguous ;-)) Then I'm at my grandma's house, use the mouth wash and it's got alcohol in it. Ahhhh. I'm not beating myself up about it. I just thought I'd post a light hearted thread to see if you keep alcohol mouth wash in the house! (and yes I have drank mouth wash to try and get a buzz - mixed it with beer, it was revolting) hahaha. Guess I should be back on day 1 now...

Did you drink it on purpose to get a buzz? Are you drinking it and avoiding life?

If you didn't swallow it on purpose and didn't get buzzed and numb, it's not a slip. Cake has vanilla extract in it, do you eat cake and call it a relapse? I hope not. Of course, don't eat those fancy desserts with alcohol poured on it!

Not a relapse, just be vigilant that you aren't running out to buy a bottle because your sensitivity to that mouthwash created a serious craving you can't think through.

Sounds revolting..
I too use mouth wash with no alcohol ..never drank that either.

If I knowingly drank again...I would re start my sobreity...

Check your motives and keep moving on..

Oh I didn't drink it today. It was when I was about 14 and experimenting with a friend. haha.
