Fell Off :-(
Ugh.
I fell off the last couple of days after we came home after my wife's successful hysterectomy. The surgery went well, and the doctor took everything except her left ovary. The DaVinci robot surgery is very neat.
However, after a long day at the hospital and an overnight stay, I guess I got overwhelmed with all of the housework, shopping, etc, and decided to buy some beer.
Big mistake. Here I am on a Sunday, hungover from staying up late last night watching war movies with the family while drinking lots of beer, a sore back from changing out the last remaining tube TV that died here (My God, and 35 inch tube TV is Heavy!!!), and a case of the dizzies from skipping my Celexa for 48 hours (not the first time).
Even so, I scrubbed the toilets, and washed another load of laundry. Now I'm in the prone position, thinking about taking that damned TV and the remainder of the beer to the shooting place and blowing them to smithereens. Maybe I'll wait until my new AK gets here and really destroy it!
I'm not in the dumps, I just know its time to get back up and give it another try.

Fdm, as long as you're willing to get back up and try again, you're still in the game, dude. I'm glad your wife's surgery went well.
Welcome back home, and let that hangover be a constant reminder today of how you DON'T want to feel tomorrow.

I fell of too. I went to key west with my best friend on Tuesday and we drank A LOT. Shots of Jamison and lots of beer. It was a huge party.
I was sober for 10 days before the trip, and I know I can quit again.
I do have to admit, having a few drinks in you makes you care less about the delayed flights and all the b.s. that goes along with traveling.
Now I'm back at day one.
