Busted My Butt Today, But...

Worked as hard as possible today to try to catch up to and repair the damage of my time of sickness, even made up a big to do list and kept my pencil nearby to cross of all my accomplishments. I worked until there is no work left in me today but my pencil is still pretty sharp. Was just sitting here pretty down as it seemed I just didn't get anywhere except feeling weaker and more down and then I remembered one of my favorite Budhist quotes, especially having just gotten out of the hospital yesterday so I thought I'd share it again. For me now it really is my gratitude for my life today.

“Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful"

My to do list isn't going away but then neither am I. Tomorrow is a wonderful new opportunity. Namaste

We all have days like that and it's fine to have them. I think i have more than my fair share but that'sbeside the point, lol. Give yourself your off day and you'll be all the more ready to attack that list tomorrow or another day. Good to hear from you again, Fritz!
