Tonight is day 27 for me. I haven't been online in about 2 weeks. I was taking a class and had to go right to sleep as soon as I got home. I'm glad to be back here because I've been having a lot of thoughts about drinking lately.

Thanks for welcoming me back! I'm not working a program.....I was just coming here and reading as much as possible. With 5 young children and no husband, it's nearly impossible for me to go to meetings. I did belong to a great support group right after my divorce last year called celebrate recovery. That was before my drinking got out of control.

I did have a few sips of wine on Mothers day. However I was hosting everyone at my house. The glasses got mixed up and I just got busy getting the food ready by the time I thought of getting more wine it was gone. I was really caught off guard by that first sip.......the immediate to urge to drink as much as I possibly could was overwhelming! Thank goodness my need to be responsible around my family overrode my desire to drink, that and the fact that there was only one small bottle of wine!

So I guess I've been struggling with does that count as a relapse? Do I have to start my count of days over?
