Exclamation Newcomer-please forgive me for question...

Hello- Please forgive me as I am new, but it is appropriate to ask here for anyone's opinion on an adolescent long-term drug/mental health treatment center? I have a question regarding one ( or an top-notch facility in the Midwest) and just wanted to know if anyone out there has any experience or advice for my husband and I? We are desperately looking for a reputable and safe treament center for our minor teen son who has a dual diganosis; marijauna and bipolar 2/O.D.D. diagnosis. I will not post the name here if that is not allowed. Thank you very much. Blessings to you all.

Welcome to SR!

Someone may have some information for you and you might get it in a private message on your page.

Did your doctor suggest any? You could go to an Open AA or NA meeting and ask people for their opinions, too.

Glad you are here!

Thank you

Hi! Thank you for your reply. Yes, we have been to many doctors, therapists, psychiatrists, ( he is on a mood-stabalizer for his mood disorder). Our teen has been in a 60-day intensive out-patient rehab already at a very good hospital near us. He went right back to using behavior not soon after completing the program and needs more than we can give him. We need to have him step out of the family as we cannot "love" this away. Thank you.

Shouldn't be anything wrong with suggesting treatment centers here. I'm sure one will pop up here very soon, best of luck of to you!
