well, three days in on carb restricted diet. no alcohol of course. Its strange to have cravings eliminated. however, I would like to add that I still think about getting a buzz on sometimes. Think as in, "yeah, I have had fun doing that and I could but don't really want to today" But the craving and obsession are just on vacation at the moment. Has anyone else felt as though the cravings just lifted (even temporarily) without forcing them out even though the thought might still be there. hope I am making sense. My brain is toast at the end of a long early work day.
Side note: For anyone struggling at the moment: Go outside, even if raining, and find something in nature that just seems peaceful and in the moment. Even the worst parts of a city will reveal something. that should at a minimum provide a little ammunition for the evening. good luck all.
