Well Duke fell off the wagon again, literally. This time it costed me 6 stitches and a ruined Mothers Day. Man I have to beat this. Went to see my doctor today and start out patient counseling tomorrow with me wife coming. This is new for me so I hope it does the trick. Day 1 again

Well, next year you can celebrate one year at mothers day, and that is a great gift to a Mom, Wife, Girlfriend, or even Baby-mama.

I know you can get there. It's all about being willing to try different things until you find something that works and then committing to it. Hang in there.

Thanks. The double whammy. I will have withdrawal and my head is killing me. That will be great if the next Mothers day is one year sober!! Right it is just one day at a time. Little nervous because my wife is going to the first assessment. They made her go. She is probably going to hear some things that will shock her.

Best to have those things out so they can be talked about rather than festering inside anways. I know it's a cliche, but there's some truth to the saying "you're only as sick as your secrets".
