which is exactly how long i made it when I tried to stop before. staying sober and loving it

Good for you, Serphyas -- that's great! Stick with it.

I'm on day 10 and loving it too -- I think just knowing that alcohol isn't a possibility makes me feel much more comfortable with myself.

Congrats on 12 days. It takes effort to get pass a week just keep going the days will turn it weeks the weeks to months and before you no it a year will come around. Try to keep your mind restored with staying busy or work this will help the jitters from alcohol. One day at a time or one minute what ever it takes. Get a AA big book this is knowledge from recovering alcoholics gives hope.

That's good....what are you doing differently about beating that old record?
I did return to drinking...many times...before I got connected to recovery.
