Checking in

Hi Folks. Today was rough. I suffer the WORST anxiety after drinking. But I am sitting with it, and know that this too shall pass. I just need to stay the course.

I just opened up a pack of 100 new crayons with the 3 year old, and colored with her on the kitchen floor. It was the best part of my day.

Wishing everyone well tonight. As always, thanks for being out there. I appreciate having this place.

I had horrible anxiety too, and I`ve never forgotten it.

I`m glad you got through the day.

My body and the universe is telling me something now, and I am listening. I never used to get panic attacks after drinking. Now I do. It's like my own personal antabuse (sp?).

Anxiety is the worst and heavy drinking makes it all that much more worse.
Glad you had a great time colouring with your little one.
It's the little things that count.

change4good,

It will get better - hang in there! Nice that you spent some time with children - that always makes me grateful that I don't drink. take care.

I can totally relate. Being right there with our kids, is just the best place in the world. I am rooting for you C4G, we can both do this. We deserve it.

Slept a solid 8 hours, and brewing some coffee before heading to the gym. The entire house is asleep, and I am feeling thankful for Saturdays and sobriety.

Happy Weekend everyone.
