60 Days!
Yes! I am back in the saddle BA-BY! WHOOO! Today is day 61, which means I can go get another token to add to my collection. And it wouldn't be possible without you guys, or the help of my friends in AA. Thank you so much for all your support! I love each and everyone of you!

Thank you all very much! I just went to my homegroup, and got my token. (AA token, that is.)
Tomorrow I'm going to go to a NA group, and get my key-tags. For a while there, I'd basically just given up on sobriety. I just thought I couldn't do it, so I figured I would just "manage" my problem as best I could.
But I just kept going to meetings, and here I am, two months later, completely clean and sober for two months. This is the longest I've been sober in almost two years.
And I don't intend on giving up this time. I don't care what I have to do.
And truth be told, I can't take any responsibility for it. It's all because of you people. Thank you so very much!

HAHA.
I know that might sound "fishy" to some, but I'll explain:
I tried getting sober on my own many times. The longest I've lasted on my own was four days. Your people's support has carried me. Through the good times, and bad. I'll be going to the NA group today to get my key tags.
Okay, obviously I've been attending the meetings, doing the work, and not resting on my laurels. Of course not.
But I thought about something not too long ago, that made a lot of sense to me: Before coming across AA, and these forums..........I did not know ONE completely clean and sober person.
Not one.
So that's why I give you people all the credit. Without you guys, I'm toast.
So thank you!

Are these extravagant promises? We think not. They are being fulfilled among us - sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly. They will always materialize if we work for them.
