.....I am devastated He became one of my best friends through the years, Cancer took him Saturday....he was my hero. He was there when I entered treatment, we worked together when I became a trainee, he saw me through my Son being born...we went through so many good times...and some bad ones too. He was probably the only constant in my whole recovery process.

I miss him.....I am sad today

Not sure if you remember not long ago mine did as well. He was 68 years old I think maybe 70's but he had 38 years sober. I still think about him almost daily.

Right on, Chance. I don't think good old sponsors ever pass away... They may be gone from sight but their words and spirit live on.
My first sponsor passed in '97 and I still quote him at almost every meeting.
