Went to the same bar that I used to go to happy hour
Friday a close coworker (36 years old) who I used to drink with 395 days ago told me she has 6-12 months to live. Normally, this would have sent me over the edge and I would have gotten super drunk. She really wanted me to go with her to tell another close friend and just overall support.
I agreed and stayed about an hour talking. I didnt drink anything!!! They were drinking but I didnt even drink water. So many times I have been in that bar drunk and loud. I proved to myself I can be in a tense situation in a bar and not drink........... the next time we are meeting at someplace like a restaurant.
