And it's off to court we go!
AXBF owes me in the vicinity of $4000. He has assured me for the past 7 months that he would pay me back, and has paid me a whopping $100, while spending the rest on booze and debt from booze-related incidents. I let him know I'm filing in court.
He just emailed me saying taking him to court is not necessary and I have his word that he'll pay me back. That taking him to court would just be a waste of both our time because we can settle this out of court.
Yeah. I have his word. I cannot believe he's serious.
I'm a single mother and I desperately need the money back for the down payment on a much smaller house for me and my kids once my current house sells.
Thanks for letting me vent. It seems there is no end to the insanity of dealing with an alcholic.
