hello, this is my first day here. this is also my first day without pills.
been taking them along time. been taking a lot of them.
im ready to get my life right !!
my skin is crawling, my head is killing me, my body hurts like hell, i can't see right, i almost feel drunk im so out of it, and i keep feeling like im gonna pass out and/or start twiching.
but enough about me, how are you guys today ?

I just have a minute to post, but I wanted to welcome to you to SR. It is saving my life....you will love it. Hey, you may want to post to the substance abuse forum. Just go to the forum page, page down and you will se the substance abuse forum. Just copy and paste your post there. A lot of us alcoholics are also addicts, but I think you will get more response there. Just FYI. But feel welcome to stay here in newcomers if you want - I just waned to lead you to that forum also. Congratulations on making the first move to sobriety. You are not alone, not by a long shot!

What has your doctor suggested to you? Getting off pills needs medical attention as it can be lethal.

Welcome snowfairy. If you feel you need medical detox then go get help. It's a lot safer and the doctors and nurses are very kind and understanding. Don't be embarassed and remember, your health is worth it. Hospitals will let you take your time paying them back in increments.
