Hi, This is my first time sharing here. My mother was an alcoholic growing up. She also was very controlling and manipulating w/ my sister and I. My sister is in active prescription drug addiction and I am 16 months clean and sober and I am also working a food plan for compulsive overeating.

My mom has quit drinking, but she still has many of the behaviors. My sister is a wreck and is on so many meds, I cannot hardly talk to her and when I do I get very frustrated.

Her two girls, one is a recovering addict and the other full of anxiety. I see history repeating itself.

My two boys are both compusive overeaters.
