Gosh Darn, I Did Normalness And It Was Good!
Met a friend at a coffee house and she had tea and I had coffee and we just talked and visited and I got a coffee refill (no cost) and I thought once in awhile, I wasn't thinking about how much wine I had left in my glass and when it was ok to order a refill. It was so liberating to actually be there with a friend and not be there with the bottle. And to drive home sober and aware of all that happened. How much did I **** away in relationships with others and myself? It doesn't matter now, I had this evening and I trust many more to come.

I remember a moment of "normalcy and clarity" it was back when I moved in w/ 3 sober female roommates and the water bill came and one of the gals clipped her 2 twentys to the refridgerator and it was okay! No creeps came in and stole it, it just stayed there till the check was written.
