miracle
I just would like for everyone to no , i had a miracle happen yesterday. I have prayed and prayed , for god to help me ( never prayed for myself until now , always prayed for everybody else) I prayed for strength, healing and i turned my A/H husband(JOE) over to god. An angel handed 500.00 over to me and he said just someday pass the love on. I was shocked almost a stranger ,would do this for me. Now i have a deposit to get Jake (my son ) and i an apartment instead of going to shelter. Just wanted to share this miracle with my SR family. I as so touched i cried.

I would call that a miracle ! Sounds like you have an angle watching over you.
When I was at the end of my rope and accepted I was powerless over the AS's, someone helped me out of my dark hole I was in. That is when I realized; Step 2 of the 12 steps came to have meaning to me.
2 ; Came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.

jolinda, I'm very happy for you and praying you continue to receive the blessings you need.
I was taught to expect miracles, because we are miracles and surrounded by them. I was also taught that anytime I need something, I have to ask for it. The other day, in another forum, I read and received more food for thought: if we don't receive a miracle, we're the miracle for someone else.
You, your son, and that man hit a perfect trifecta; thank you so much for sharing it
