Thankful

I still have my depressed and sad days but I'd like to share a good story from last night

Did my normal stuff around the house laundry...made dinner... My hubby and I watched American idol...when all the sudden I smelled something funny..I went upstairs and one of my stove burners went out and the gas was still flowing...could've been disastrous if I was drinking....
Thanks for early sobriety...may have saved my life in more ways than one

Glad you smelled it, newlife. I did so many foolish things - left candles burning, food in the oven overnight, the list goes on. Thankfully, we never have to go back there.
