I will detach from my A today because....
-I deserve respect
-Im worthy of a healthy relationship
-I hate the things he says when he's drunk and hungover.
-I hate how he tries pressuring me into things I dont wanna do while he's drunk.
-Because every minute I waste on him is a minute I dont get back bettering myself.
-Id rather be alone then in bad company.
-Because im not going to find Mr. Right in Mr. Wrong's arms.
-Cuz I come first.
-My life is less chaotic and dramatic without him.
-My Mom would rather see me fail. She called me weak when I spoke to him once is 4 days. Because Im going to prove her wrong.
-Because I am Strong.

I would say you basically covered all of the reasons to let go...but I will add a few from my standpoint
-Because not only do "I" deserve better...my son deserves to have a wonderful childhood
-Because I do not want my son growing up to disrespect women the way his father does and learn that drinking is the way to solve all of your problems
-I deserve happiness and my wants and needs are important also!!!!!!!
-I didn't like him sober (which was only in short spurts) or drunk...I came to realize I just didn't like him period
-I don't have to feel like I'm being watched like a hawk to make sure I didn't do something he didn't "approve" of for him to be able to get wasted and use what I done as an excuse...AKA walking on eggshells for his happiness
-I can deal with my own issues of codependency and learn what I DON'T want in a partner down the road and be able to recognize the RED FLAGS!!!
-I don't have to have sex every single night of the week just to appease him---I can get in my bed and go to SLEEP because I'm friggin' tired!!!

Because I need to. Because its life or death- his violence is unpredictable and my mental health rapidly deteriorates when faced with his abuse all day every day. If I go back, there's little to no chance of me coming out in one piece.
Because my daughter deserves way way better than he can offer.

-Because you can't allow someone who don't want to, or can't, work towards their own happiness to deny you of your happiness. Either one of you is unhappy, or both of you are unhappy, so why not let it be just one?
Anyway, even with all the memorable phrases in the world going through your mind, its still a very sad, almost harsh (at times) mindset to come to grips with, but you eventually realize its for the better.........
