60 days!

I hit 60 days of sobriety yesterday and it feels so amazing! I can't believe I've made it so far. It seemed damn near impossible when I first decided I wanted to get sober. Now, the need and desire to drink isn't as strong, my thinking is more clear, I care for and value myself more, and I feel so FREE. The obsession to drink has faded and I no longer feel like I'm doomed to live miserably anymore. Granted, it hasn't been easy, but I wouldn't take back my 60 days of sobriety for anything. I am so blessed to have made this far and look forward to many more days of sobriety!

I thought I was going to be absolutely miserable without drinking anymore, but that was just my addiction messing with my head. It really is a great feeling to have the freedom that comes with sobriety!
