my favorite drink....can't stop.

homemade ice tea!

it's still uhm...hot here...on this picture... the tea egg and bag is out now.
it's in the fridge, cooling down, need to sift it, then it will be served with ice cubes.

Ice tea. My own recipe.
Two kinds of fresh green tea. One with aloe vera, one with some australian little plant that smells like citrus. Mix it, put it in the egg.

Now i'm kinda a sweettooth, so you can experiment with flavours.
both are sweet.
I add two table spoons of honey, and one of brown sugar. Added slices of lemon.
The teabag is peppermint.

Let the teas in for at least vijf minutens, otherwise the antioxidants wont be released and flavours.

Put the jug in the fridge. With the lemon slices still in it. Cool it down.
When'ts cool, sift the residu's out.

Ready to serve. If wanted, with a slice of fresh lime. And like I said at the top. With cubes.

The only thing not really healthy about the drink is one tablespoon of brown sugar for a liter of iced tea. I'll take my chances...

cheers.

Mine is 1/4 orange juice, 1/4 apple juice, 1/4 cranberry juice, and 1/4 sprite or 7up. Though I can also get down on some iced tea.

I have been making myself fun little drinks using sparkling water and flavored syrup. A little vanilla syrup and sparkling water makes a nice ghetto cream soda. And I can get the sugar free syrups so I don't add calories to my day.

That tea sounds fabulous.

Nice effort!!

But have you felt the power of the GREEN SMOOTHIE??

In a blender - cup of water, an apple, a banana, some blueberries and 2 cups of raw spinach. BLEND IT UP and you've got what gorillas eat every day (without the chewing of the greens to get the nutrients). Its how we were designed to eat!

Give it a go - you won't be disappointed.

I need to cut down on my energy drinks and coke zero. Thinking about trying sparkling water to stay away from the other stuff.

I agree with this one - I take it a step further:

Spinach
Kale
Broccoli
Carrots
Celery
Apple
Ginger
Hemp Protein powder

My body feels incredible after I drink it...I can feel it when I miss a day!

Cream soda...gross :P

My new favourite - mix one third smoothie (any kind - green is ace but I like strawberry and banana) with two thirds sparking water. The smoothie soda...yumm!

Nice thread, Mr Clean
