Still have my job

I talk to the guy and he understand about what happen and I didn't lose my job. I told him that I was going to an out patient treatment place. He understand because he struggle with alcohol too. Life going on and I have to focus on my career and recovery.

I'm glad for you. now keep some structure and follow the sober routine, even if you don't feel like it, you will be glad that you did.

remember gratitude too, it helps me tremendously.

Thumbs up

That is good to hear!
I did outpatient for 18 weeks, mine was court ordered after my DUI but it was pretty interesting and I kind of enjoyed it.
Looking forward to hearing about your experience with it, ACT10Npack.

Hi action, April 5th is a great sobiety date to have. One the verge of spring with the promise of new growth so close. I hope you never forget it nor need another one and you are not as alone as it may feel. We all have to focus on recovery each day and a career to boot. Well that is one thing to have on the ole gratitude list as many of us do not have it starting out nor could hold a job. Way to go Brother

No, I believe you have to focus on recovery, then your career. First things first.

All the best.

Agree strongly with 2GD. If you can't remain sober the job is forfeited to your drinking. If you recover then your career possibilities and other aspects of your life will expand.

Keep first things first.
