30 Days ... for the last time!
Today is Day 30 for the last time. In the last year, I've had 8 months of sobriety (not continuous) and 4 months of insanity. After the demoralizing experience of hospital detox, I decided that this was finally my bottom and surrendered this life of craziness in favor of the life I was meant to have. This time I'm truly doing the work and experiencing things I never thought would be possible for me. For the first time in many years, I have no desire for a drink. That is nothing short of a miracle.
I'm grateful for all of the support here and thank each and every one of you for your sage advice, caring, and encouragement. You are all a huge part of my recovery. Life is good, and its getting better. I know there are days ahead when I will want to pull my hair out, but I have the tools and support to get through them that I didn't have before.
I'm looking forward to the rest of this journey and grateful that I can do it with all of you. Thank you.

I've told you before that your av says so much about you. Blooming in seemingly ungrowable conditions. Your accomplishments are nothing short of fantastic. Keep on blooming, sweetie - you are most awesome!!
