I am going to my first Alanon meeting in a few minutes.
Today was calm. I dropped some things off to my husband after work, and seeing his face, the sadness and fatigue on it, was heartbreaking.
I am hoping I can start working on my guilt and sadness (and a zillion other emotions) by going tonight and listening as hard as I can.
I also want to find my strength, my resolve.
I want to believe that I deserve to live a life without being threatened or scared, and that life most likely doesn't include my husband. That's hard.
