I have been not sleeping for a good while, but that is also because I am stressed and a horrible procrastinator. Got about three hours this afternoon but that is about all. But I am pretty used to not sleeping for a few days at a time. Hopefully you are able to deal with it, it takes some getting used to.
You've found one of the great cures for insomnia. Don't worry about it! Time will rbing sleep and the insomnia should pass. For some in days others may take longer.
Early in sobriety I found a great technique to address procrastinating as well. Just start early, and small. Often just getting started is the hardest part, and by reducing the problem to smaller parts makes it far less onerous and overwhelming. And you feel good having started which should get you back into the task sooner.
