A change in me

I couldnt manage my drinking alone readmitted myself in hospital for help. Accepted help and made myself accountable. I admitted I was an alcoholic, I cant drink and gave AA a try again. Right now staying with friends and go to the local AA meeting a few times a day and I love this meeting just got to have an open mind. I will go everyday bc I need support and I want to change my life.

The desire is the first thing in my inexperienced opinion, then you have to accept and want to quit drinking forever. That was my last big step. By last I mean the last one I made not the last one that I will ever make :p but I am not doing AA, I am using RR/AVRT, to each his own. Also whenever I get back to the states I am going to check out a meeting just to see what its like. I hope AA works for you, I know it has for many, and you will probably hear from them shortly let us know how its going from time to time.

That's awesome...And it will change your life....Just do what they do. Get a sponsor...Someone to guide you through the steps...Stick with the people in your group that make it work...Get involved...Be a part of....And get started working the steps...It's the most amazing thing I've ever gone through in my life....And it was free. I love AA...And I owe my life to it...Most of my friends I have today are from AA...And these people would do anything possible for me...And I would for them. Not a bad thing to be a part of.
