Bad Sleep

30 years I was always complaining about bad sleep, 18 months on Sleeping meds with a bottle of wine a night..thought I was just born with a bad sleep disorder along with the palpations and panic attacks. Never did I understand that all My problems may be caused by Alcohol , well 74 days tomorrow and I actually sleep solid for 5/6 hours at night without waking up( never done this in 30 years ), that makes me feel so great !!!

Yes Especially today, I feel really free and good.

That is great! Yeah, I now realize that when I drank to sleep I wasn't really sleeping per se, I was passed out. Geez

Ya I've had palpatations and anxiety attacks and they are no fun. Sleeping pills and stuff didn't help much. Glad you're finally getting some good sleep.

I fully can agree with you. I did the same thing and I sleep wonderfully now.

Congrats on your time and keep doing what your doing .

Spot on DD!

All alcohol related for me too. I don't miss waking up at all hours with that anxiety/panic button ringing through my whole being. Another gift sobriety brings....peaceful sleep.

Awesome! (I don't miss waking up in the middle of the night or running to the bathroom, again and again in the middle of the night! My cat is even sleeping all night, too, or at least she's not waking me up today.)

Keep staying sober!

DarkDays, the AA oldtimers told me to keep coming back, that it "Keeps getting better". Sounds like it's getting better for you as well.
All the best.
