More craziness...

(((Choublak))) - my dad has often told me that I'm the only person he can talk to. He's also brought up things that I really don't need to know as his daughter.
I set boundaries, such as "I will not discuss...., I am your daughter, if you need further support, then you need to find it".
I was met with anger, at first. He kept trying to bring up the same topics, and I kept saying "I told you, I will not discuss this...I am not your therapist, I am your daughter".
He eventually "got it". It was uncomfortable, it stirred up a lot of emotions, but it was what *I* needed and since I'm the only person I can control? It was what I had to do.
