Restraining orders

The most recent text from my father, just thought I'd share.

Mom got a restraining order on me. Now I can't see her, be near her, text or call or anything!! I might as well be dead!!!!!!!

Oh, I'm fine. I live in a different state from my parents, and I've become relatively desensitized to their drama.

So sorry, it is so hard to detach from your parents, is your dad just making noise to get attention or is he a serious threat to himself?

My parents had lots of drama for a while. It was exhausting. RO's against each other, arrests, trips to the psych ward. And they used to make fun of my teenage drama and angst. Jeez!

I emphasize! Best to live in another state and monitor your calls.
