Yesterday was the hardest day so far to stay away from alcohol, but I did it. On day 12 i'm dancing around the house like a fool and loving it! soooooo happy right now. Just wanted to share this, it gets better newcomers!

Holly, riding out those difficult moments and waking the next day feeling good, strengthened my resolve to keep going.

You are sooooooo on the right track. I'm almost a year sober and I have not had those "moments" (and that's what they are, moments) in a very long time.

GOOD FOR YOU. CONGRATS. KEEP THAT POSITIVE MIND-SET AND YOU WILL BE FINE. it is a struggle but you seem to have a good attitude about it.

Thanks for the update Holly! I had the same experience. It wasn't all lollipops & rainbows right out of the gate...but I got there, and you will too.
