Hey Grits, I'm still laughing at your post though it's probably not funny to you. The "holy crap" got me.

Get a good night sleep, eat a big breakfast, and for goodness sake, don't forget to breathe. Doctor, therapist, and AA = Healing. You'll be fine.

I went to my first meeting in awhile this afternoon. I've been isolating and it felt good to be out and about once again. Take care you two.

Nothin' to it. It's all about you. Just listen to everyone you see and it will all be okay. Every day gets better (coming from my meager 19 days sober that feels a little inauthentic, but it's true so far so let's keep at it.)

Just take them one thing at a time....And don't drink one day at a time....Everything will be fine...I found in real early sobriety...The less I overthought things the better I was....Distract yourself...Get a Big Book and read it like it's a manual to save your life....Because that's what it is...

Wow, reading that made me reflect back on how terrified I was when I actually started taking action to get sober. But, it does get better... so, so much better.

Your taking positive action and getting help in the fight for your life. Good for you. I've gotten to where I look forward to things that you have on your list. It's like taking out a little more insurance against this disease.
