Today is day 10 since my last relapse. Since then I've:

Been to 3 meetings
Gotten a sponsor
Graduated treatment
Was asked to be a business partner
Interviewed for a part time job

Feeling pretty positive at the moment.

The job thing could be a quandry. My heart tells me partner with my friend as she expands her business teaching music to preschoolers. But right now this is just an idea. She's not sure what she can pay me and all of that but she does have a good business plan though it will take time.

Not sure what to do if I'm offered the part time position. It's 22/HR/WK and only $9 an hour. It would be an easy job though, answering phones for a radio group, sorting the mail, greeting visitors, awarding prizes... stuff like that.

The radio job is at least a paycheck I can count on.

Just not sure what to do.

Work on your recovery FRH...If the job is meant to be..It's meant to be...Use that sponsor....Let her guide you...

why not take the part time money job for now, and help your friend when you can? or is time and other responsibilities a factor?

To answer a couple of you who asked, yes; it turns out my friend is willing to work around the job. I would be working with her in my spare time.

Just have to see what happens!
